With closed eyes, a lunar crown, and a leaf-shaped ear, this hybrid figure is organized around attention rather than sight. Obsidian interrupts the glazed ceramic body as a dense, reflective presence. The sculpture does not portray an established mythological being; it constructs an imagined anatomy for listening to what cannot yet be named. It proposes that meaning can begin as a bodily and symbolic form before it becomes language.
