Instrucciones para entrar en el fuego y qué hacer una vez en él presents a traveler at the threshold of transformation. Inspired by José Agustín’s novel Cerca del fuego, the work imagines an impossible manual for crossing moments that alter us without revealing what we will become. The figure carries tools and deliberately unresolved symbols, inviting viewers to construct their own reading rather than follow a fixed narrative. Clay—shaped, fired, and permanently changed by heat—becomes both the material and the evidence of passage between realities.
